don't live in Morocco and research has lead me to a dead end, so I can give a brief explanation and please be kind and direct and tell me how you know.

I have been involved with a man in the Moroccan military for a while. I come to see him a lot and the time in-between is hard but we talk on message apps every day and have video calls.

He works twice a month overnight and I just feel strange about it. It's never scheduled and almost always seems last minute 馃槙.

He was also going to break up with me saying that he could not keep putting me through this and he said he was sorry for treating me the way he does聽 and during the call he said he loved me too much to let me go. I don't understand what he meant by how he treated me because he has been nothing but amazing.

I don't think he is cheating on me. But I do think there is something that he is not telling me. And no matter how I approach the situation, I can't seem to get an answer.聽 I have read on here that morocco military can't marry foreigners and I wonder if that is why he tried to push me away?

Edit:for some reason I feel the need to point out that he has not asked me for money
