Hi Andy. Just to confirm if you can. I believed that Thailand wanted vaccination records that showed two covid vaccines. I have a friend here in Hanoi that is looking for a place to do a visa run and had settled on Thailand but he cannot satisfy the requirement if it is two vaccinations on a record. He could however get a PCR test to enter before he goes. He will be returning to Vietnam after a brief stay "somewhere".

Thailand, apparently, will not accept Neg PCR tests. From what I've been reading, there are two options only, if wanting to do a border run to Thailand.

1) Two jabs from approved vax manufacturer, the second administered at least 14 days ago,

or,

2) a note from doctor declaring prior recovery from covid infection from 7 days to 6 months ago.

Also, covid insurance is now required when visiting Thailand.

Laos and Cambodia are still good for your friend in Hanoi.
