New in Chengdu

Hi all, I've been living in Chengdu for almost two weeks now but haven't really ventured out into the city yet. Is there any long time expats who could show me round or any fellow newbies who'd like to explore together?

Hi there,

I have been offered a job in Chengdu. I haven't signed a contract yet, but can anyone help describe their living experience there? Is there xenophobic abuse? I've heard negative stuff about not being allowed into restaurants and bars etc...what is the expat experience like in this area?

@brookesclaudia32As far as I know, the more prosperous the place, the less xenophobia there is. They value your ability more, which can also bring a lot of pressure in life.
