Most MD specialists in 鈥渢ravel medicine鈥 that I know would suggest a tetanus booster if you haven鈥檛 had one in the past five years as well as the usual Hep vaccines (which you say you have already).聽 Other than that, and unless you are going to be living in a remote part of Indonesia, that鈥檚 about it.

Good luck with your move from the great state of Georgia!聽

Cheers!
That's great, thanks for your reply. Yes Tuesday I will be going for tetanus booster. I doubt I will be living in any remote areas. So I'm all set for indo. Soo excited too 馃憤
Bring pecans and your best pecan pie recipe!聽 聽:D
Ahahaha my family and I just made some a few days ago. I take it you like pecan pie lol
Use anti mosquito cream at night.
The tablets commonly give you a dodgy stomach, and not getting your blood sucked is far better than trying to prevent the illness with medicine.
"I take it you like pecan pie lol"

It's more like a love affair!聽 聽:top:

There are some things that I dearly miss living here in Bali...like pecan pie, Maine lobsters (the "real" lobsters with claws), cherry stone clams, Maryland crab, the Oyster Bar at Grand Central, and most of all, a thick juicy USDA prime rib eye steak.聽

Regarding mosquitos, the Balinese have a really good trick for that, and it's simple.聽 Plant lemon grass around the perimeter of your yard.聽 Those buggers hate lemon grass, and while a few will make it past, we rarely have anyone in our compound bitten by them.聽 We neither have the need for creams or nets, and that lemon grass is a nice touch in a lot of dishes too.聽

Cheers, and enjoy your move.
