MALAYSIAN EMPLOYMENT PASS, CATEGORY 2

Idreamwithopeneyes

Hello,
I am a Indian - Male Bachelor.
Recently, I've been offered a job as "Head - Corporate Sales" in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur by a Malaysian SDN. BHD. company. They have offered me a remuneration of MYR 7500 per month   Visa, Air Tickets, Taxes, Communication and Conveyance costs, while I will have to pay for my accommodation, food and other personal expenses.
Now, they are yet to give me my OFFER LETTER! However, upon their request I have already emailed them the following docs for EMPLOYMENT PASS, CATEGORY 2 -
a. My Recent colored passport-size photo with white background
b. My updated Resume
c. Scanned copy of my full passport with booklet cover
d. My educational certificates

They say they have applied for my visa online on 26-Oct-2018 and will give me initial feedback after 2-3 weeks.
Now, I have been trying to track my application (DP10) status on -https://eservices.imi.gov.my/myimms/PDStatus
(I know the company registration number)

But strangely, the website only allows me to select the "Transaction TO Date" as 12-Oct-2018 or earlier, or 01-Nov-2018 or later. It doesn't allow choosing 26-Oct-2018, or any date between 13-Oct-2018 and 31-Oct-2018 !!

Now, here are my doubts / queries -
1. How long does a fresh application take to appear on eservices.imi.gov.my ?
Am I even accessing the correct link or could there be another ?
2. Could it be a technical glitch that it's not allowing a selection between 13-Oct-2018 and 31-Oct-2018 ?
3. Is it normal for an employer to apply for a visa without providing the potential candidate with a formal Offer Letter ?
4. Does MYR 7500 sound above or below average for a position such as "HEAD - CORPORATE SALES" ?
5. Is MYR 7500 enough for a Bachelor Male to save enough post all personal expenses in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur?
(I will be okay with shared accommodation, and decent living standards that is neither hi-fi nor sub-standard.)

A reply to my queries will be much appreciated.

Hello! It took like forever for my company to do my EP. But in order for them to proceed with the EP I believe they should first send you the offer letter and get you to sign it. That’s basically step one as far as I know of.
