No worries.. The law is only enforce to muslims. If you aren't muslim, no need to worry at all..:)

Oh yes it does! It has a dual system of sharia and UK based civil laws. Muslims are subject to sharia laws. Remember homosexuality for example is a criminal act although if not flaunted and not Muslim it's ignored. You may be equating sharia with hudud laws as practiced in suadi arabia. That isn't sharia law just a small extreme set of "laws" taken partially from the old testament or torah (like stoning to death of an unchaste woman at her fathers house which is biblical only). Btw sharia courts exist in UK but can't enforce laws howere many Muslims use them for marriage and divorce.

I would suggest for any unmarried couples living together to get a cheap ring for the woman and pretend at work. Although maybe not illegal it still raises eyebrows and best just to save face for everyone!

We look forward to welcoming you and your bf as soon as you arrive this beautiful country. Here is a free country where you live your life as you so wish as long as it is not viewed as mischievous or barbaric. Welcome to Malaysia

Many people consider "living in sin" (man and woman living together unmarried) as barbaric! It is stil considered that way in UK by many, my mum used to hold her head in shame at my sister "living in sin"'! One mans barbaric is anothers good night out ;-)

One's choice in life is one's freewill but one must at all times live the faith one professes assuming one belongs to a religious group.
Well I'm a pastafarian so off to have some holy noodles lol

If anyone doesn't know what that is look it up and no laughing at my religion :)-
If you have each oveer the visa, you can come without getting married.
