Allow me answer your questions.

To get LTVP approval there was a pre-marriage assessment level which i believe you never took in consideration and skipped,聽 pre-marriage assessment give you better idea about future of your spouse in Singapore, now you are facing consequences for not taking it in your consideration.

For LTVP approval, following are key factors (Not all) which ICA takes in for approval or refusal of LTVP application.

1.聽 Sponsor's (you) salary / income which must meet the requirements which are
聽 聽 聽monthly withdrawn salary SGD5500/=, which is an clear sign that you can
聽 聽 聽support your husband until he find Job in Singapore or Start his business
聽 聽 聽whichever the case may be.聽

2. Education of Sponsor and Spouse, which directly reflect that how long stated
聽 聽 couple will last in marriage, as social status and educational background play a
聽 聽 essential part in any relationship.

3.聽 Age differences.
4. Total period of time of relationship prior to marriage.
5.聽 Having child out of this marriage. (Since 2017) or at least tried for baby.

For Visa:聽 if it is Multiple entry Visa than he may use it again, if it was single journey Visa than he must obtain again.


AND, since you mentioned that you having PR status in Singapore, ICA MUST look in the background of stated PR Status of yours, whether it came from previous marriage or professionally or by investing in Singapore. "If it come through earliest one than things are more and more complicated.

I hope you already have your answer, how to fix it and where to start to resolve your problem.

In my opinion, no matter how many times you apply for your husband LTVP, ICA will refuse it, unless you fix the problem on your own and apply with proper, required conditions.

i get my pr by my dad in 2008 and i started studying here from p3 . i am 22 this year march . i just finished my o levels in 2016 and 2017 i married and 2018 i started work but my salary was too low and i quit and started another job in march 2019 with salary of $3000. my husband entry was refused on the 28 of March 2019 and i have appealed and still waiting .do u have any idea how long it will take to know the results. what happens if he still come to Singapore with same visa next month? will he still be denied by the officer ? please advise me as we want to celebrate our raya together next month .

Your husband can come on tourist visa for few times before his visa may get denied. This happened exactly here.

You even can鈥檛 appl LTVP for him as your salary is way below to get eligibility bringing your spouse to Singapore.

Only way he can get into Singapore is that he has to get a job and employer sponsors him. Good luck

I have responded to your PM, that seek response from ICA via email and if ICA says yes (bring that email copy), then he should try to visit or else avoid.

If second time he gets denied then it may hamper to his work visa approval in future and entry ban period would be longer. So, better take precautions. Good luck

The minimum salary threshold to bring a spouse on DP is S$6000/month. For LTVP things are slightly more flexible, but not that much. That means with just S$3000/month you have no chance!
It is now obvious to the authorities that your husband does not want to visit, but is trying to live here on an SVP, a visa that is not meant for residence. He should NOT try to come again, unless he gets written clearance from ICA that he can, or unless he has another visa type (e.g. LTVP or work pass).

Well, that would make it even more obvious that he wants to live in Singapore, not just visit, and is trying to (ab-) use an SVP for that.

hi ! i just have few questions and some advice for that .
if my husband able to find聽 job in Singapore and he came to Singapore with spass r epass will he聽 able to enter Singapore with tat?
and in future will it be difficult to get ltvp if he worked in Singapore with spass or epass ?and will it be easier to convert from spass or epass to ltvp if our application is successful ? moreover, which one聽 is better for him to stay and work in sg to get pr ltvp or spass or epass ?

If your husband gets a work pass, he can enter with that, since any immigration violation was already considered during the application process.
A work pass cannot be converted to LTVP. These are separate types of visa.
He cannot work on LTVP, and cannot become PR right now. So a work pass is his best option.

what i mean is when he work in sg with work visa meanwhile i apply ltvp for him under my sponsorship in future will there be any issue for him to get ltvp ? and i heard tat with ltvp he can work with loc聽 ...

He (or you) can apply for an LTVP when his work pass expires or is cancelled, but this is separate from any work pass. He will getb it if he fulfills the LTVP criteria.
An LoC that allows work on LTVP can be applied for, but there is no guarantee that he can get it. The criteria are unpublished, constantly changing and curren tly tightening.
PR criteria are also changing and currently tioghtening. He needs to live in Singapore for at least 3 years, so think of that later on!

hi聽 on the 21 of聽 may i visited ica regarding my husband appeal entry outcome as he was retained from singapore on the 28 of March聽 . as i was waited for about 7 weeks . i was given the appeal entry letter on the day of 21 may . as my husband still have the entry visa until 24 of may . my question is does he have to come Singapore with the previous visa or he can come with a new visa anytime together with the appeal entry letter聽 . cause the pervious visa is too never for him . please advise .. is it safe for him to come Singapore with appeal entry ..? please help ...

I cannot imagine why the clearance should be tied to a specific visa, but with buerocrats you never know ...

yes he successfully entered Singapore after 2 months and聽 he stayed聽 one month only we didn't extend.

I am male applying for my wife, i stop working to further studies and just started work for 2 months, I wanna apply on Oct once i have 4 months payslip. yeah I am a PR also. i am just afraid my income is the problem as I just started to work and income not even 4K. When u got rejected what was ur income level? have u ever seek help from MP?

u didn't go ns ? when i applied my salary wat like only 1.7k and i applied like 2 time and it was rejected so i tried looking job at 3k so now i am earning like 3k only some part time work aswell . and i can't find job more than tat. so i dun no wat am i gg to do . i seek help from mp but it was useless . if October also rejected i have no idea wat am i gg to do .

Nope I got My PR 4 years back when I was working in 1 of the company, i acquired my PR from PTS scheme so no NS required. I am not sure if salary 2.5 k and above will help. Since u r working part time how are u going to ask the letter of employment? u said u asked help from MP before but useless, u mean MP did not help u give appeal letter at all?

i am working full time plus part time . so i can just get my salary slip i think tat would be fine . mp actually did gave me a letter but it didn't work . we went again but also didn't work because i am pr holder so they couldn't help tat much .

i see, i think u need to send your proof of income by attaching it in email as well as ur proof of owning a property, payslip and employment letter after u apply. did u do that? or u got rejected straight away?.

u mean when applying for ltvp is it ? actually i did everything i also included one of our marriage photo . so everyone saying tat in order to leave with ur spouse in Singapore u have to earn more than 4k . nothing more than . but i do see ppl successfully getting ltvp with 2.5 k . so i dun no wat is the ica exactly looking in to . some say its luck 馃槀

u mean after u submit the application, u directly send them and email about the proof everything? i think is not mainly income only I believe, if ur husband in and out singapore for many times and very often within short period then it will affect the result heavily. because they wanna see good conduct, is this person is behaving good and did he stay too long or not, that is what I think. U said someone with salary 2k and above also got it, are they PR or Citizen? i am not sure spouse of citizen and spouse of PR got different treatment and criteria or not?

wat u mean by direct email ? i had applied only in online ica websites when it was rejected i did appeal where i will attach all the proof and documents but tats also reject . the reason he stayed here was that we have applied ltvp so in order to apply he must be here and the visa will automatically will be extended . but this time he came he only stayed about 25 days and he went back as we did not apply ltvp . so there was a reason for his stay . actually they are pr ... i guess they have been working in a company for a long term so maybe i assume tat could be a聽 reason .

U applied ltvp 1time rejected 2nd time applied rejection but according to my know u have to wait for 6 month to apply again bcoz ica gave 3 month for appeal submission.... must fill ur online form properly don't give wrong information to ica about u and ur husband ..some where salary not matter if ur husband able to get job in Singapore..1 more thing if ur husband was past work permit holder must get approval from MOM..even 10 or 20 year ago still need approval from MOM..
