Need help in filing appeal against my rejected ePass Application

Hi Members,

Hope you're doing well, a quick summary of myself:

I am a Senior Software Engineer from Pakistan with 10 years of Professional Experience.

I have completed my High-School (Intermediate) and than did a 3 year Software Engineering Diploma from Aptech(aptech-education.com.pk) which in my home country works well for starting a job that requires BS Degree.

In January i accepted an offer from a Singapore company, and they processed my ePass however it was rejected due with the reason that the Aptech Diploma which i submitted is from an Unrecognized Institute.

So the Visa company suggested me to submit my High School Degree after getting it verified from DataFlow group.

currently All of my Education (High School + Diploma) and Employment (5 companies) is under verification at DataFlow and hopefully the report will be ready next week.

Now after having discussion with the Visa company about submitting my appeal, they will include my high-school degree and 2 latest experiences. When I asked why only 2 experiences she said MOM website only has option to add 2.

My question here is, can the above ^^ be true?
I mean why wouldn't MOM allow adding more than 2 experiences if I have them. Also i read somewhere on MOM's website stating that you should have minimum Bachelors Degree or Relevant Experience. I have 10 years of relevant experience but based on the visa company i can't share this with MOM :(

Also in addition to this i have already started working for the same company remotely as MOM and Visa company was taking too long and they needed me on-board to start the work.

I will look forward to getting your feedback and help. so I can submit my appeal properly.

Your diploma certificate does not recognise by MoM (can see the University or institution names in MoM website). So, your HighSchool certificate (don鈥檛 call it degree) won鈥檛 help much. In revised yardsticks at MoM, educational background is also part of a major selection criteria.

I think you can add all experiences (certainly more than 2) during online submission.

What do you mean by visa company? Your employer only can apply your employee work pass (no one else does apply).

What do you mean by you have already started work? You can only work for the company if you have another offer letter to work remotely. Under Singapore offer letter, it鈥檚 not legally advised to work before work pass approval. Good luck
Yes you're correct its a High School Certificate

What do you mean by visa company?
My company has hired consultant from a 3rd Party company OneVisa that submits data on behalf of our company. So basically the Visa Application is submitted by the company I am working for but via a Consultant.

What do you mean by you have already started work?
Yes I have started to work for them remotely and have a separate contract for this. Should i submit this contract as well ?

I think you can add all experiences (certainly more than 2) during online submission.
I believe the same to be true, but the consultant says otherwise. I will push her to Submit all my employments.
You and your employer should declare every truth to MoM. If you and your employer are engaged in another arrangement then it has to be declared. Then employer can provide rationale that they want to bring you Singapore based on your initial performance and skills set. Further, they have to provide the information that initially they had tried to hire locally (can proof the job ad posted in job bank for 2 weeks followed by few rounds of interviews) but unable to find a suitable candidate before they are planned to offer you for relocation.

Appealing without addressing the real issues or reason of rejection, has no value and MoM won鈥檛 change its decision. So, speak to your employer and discuss how to work on this. Good luck

Note: Your education is a big drawback (once MoM did not recognise your diploma). I鈥檓 surprised that you have ambition to work in one of the top 3 global financial markets but yet not attending or completing any degree or diploma from a reputed university (includes from Pakistan).
Thank You for providing feedback @surya2k

Yup i absolutely understand the importance of sharing correct data and having a degree, although as i read on MOM's website they either require a Degree or Relevant experience and since I have more than 10 years of experience I think it would suffice which brings me back to the question:

Can I add more than 2 employment experiences when submitting application to MOM?
I understand you have already answered this but I am looking for someone who might have hands-on experience with this i.e. had more than 2 experience before moving 2 Singapore.

Have a great day!
**Bump**
So its been quite a while since i posted this question and alot has happened since which i will try to explain below.

So i didn't have a Bachelors degree but had 10 years of professional experience and an undergraduate + 3 years diploma. (Which was initially rejected by MOM) because they didn't recognize my diploma and wanted me to verify its authority from 3rd party DataFlow

For which i submitted all my experiences and educational certificates to be verified from Dataflow. It costed me alot (company didn't sponsor)

But the verification was taking long and my company wanted to get me in Singapore as soon as possible.

So i took a leap.of faith and submitted my undergraduate certificate along with 10 years experience which got approved.

Also on a side note i got all my documents verified from DataFlow (although they've not been used but will be helpful next time)

Before flying to Singapore i cancelled my current contract with company and asked them to create a new contract (as i was working remotely for them)

Its been 1 month now i am in Singapore got my ePass and everything is settled 馃榾

Congratulations!

So you have appealed on your own or the company helped you to do?
How long did it take to get a response from MOM?
Thank You Danial,

we can not appeal against the application, this has to be done by the company. they appealed again using my Undergraduate (Intermediate) Certificate and 10 years professional experience which got approved.

also the reason for initial rejection was that i submitted my aptech diploma which was not recognized by MOM.

**Note:** MOM always provides reason of rejection to the company and most of the times its just a mis-information. low salary offer from company or wrong visa type e.g. S-Pass instead of e-Pass etc.
How long did it take for your appeal take?
You are correct!

If The MOM decides to reject any applicants, they will issue a [b] General Automated email to the company.

Then only the company and sometimes the applicants can find out the exact reason of rejection afterwards.

In my case, The position is a junior Civil Engineer aka fresh graduate. During the submission of the application I declared 5 years of relevant experience which is not relevant to engineering but just a normal construction experience.. it got rejected, I found the reason, HR contacted the MOM and appealed.

Still waiting for the outcome...how long did your appeal take to get approved?
3 weeks (including weekends)
