Quit Job during probation period and apply a new position as EP holder

Hi

I have started my first job in SG in Sept 2020 and got my first EP.

However, after working for 2 months, I realized that I do not get along with the company culture and I want to resign before the end of the probation period.

My questions are

1) Can I not disclose my first job experience ( quit during probation period)聽 to new companies I am going to apply?

If I quit during the probation peirod, of course, I do not want to reveal. I know that it won't look good on my resume. bu

2) If I don't reveal, am I not going to have an issue with applying a new EP once I get accepted?

1.Of course it is up to you how honest you are in your CV. Mentioning the positive aspects only there is common - and if you have sufficient work experience and skills, a gap in your career timeline becomes less problematic.
2. MoM of course knows about your current job and EP (but won鈥檛 tell a new employer). They dislike job-hoppers, but usually give a second chance (though not a third, so don鈥檛 change again for a few years!).
Do make sure that you leave your current employer on good terms: A complaint by them to MoM can change things drastically!

For applying a new EP, is there any section that requires me to reveal my previous job experience?
Or my past work experience?

I am just worried that I may get rejected from new EP b/c I did not disclose everything.

The employer has to submit your CV with the application - and MoM will of course notice that it is not in line with their records. But as far as I know this will not have much influence if the difference is small.

I have two more questions.
So, when would be the ideal situation for me to quit the job?

Should I quit
1) when my new company applies for a new EP?
2) When my new company applies for a new EP and I get a new IPA letter.

If I choose option 2, can my current company know that I applied to a new IPA?

For terminate EP,
when should I ask my current company to terminate my EP status?
1) When I apply to a new EP with a new company, I should have terminate my current EP ?
2) When I apply for a new EP card after getting a new IPA letter, I should terminate my currnet EP?

These questions were all answered already in existing threads, which I encourage you to read.
- The safest way is to resign after the new EPis approved.
- Your current employer can see a new EP application (but not who the new employer is).
- The old employer will cancel the EP soon after you resign.
