Still stuck in India waiting for MOM approval

Hello everyone,

I have an EP but still stuck here in India. I have written many emails to MOM without success.
Has anyone able to go back to Singapore with MOM approvals?
I have also written to HCI asking them to help.
I felt useless being stuck here.
If you issue work visa to someone to work in your country but you don't allow them to work, isn't this a violation of international agreements?

Can someone comment?

I can understand your frustration. Try from Thailand or Nepal, getting instant approvals since march 15

Hello ,

Please聽 apply聽 the entry approval from maldives Nepal Thailand.one of my colleague got the entry approval from maldives on 13th April. He is from India Hyderabad Location.

I am also very badly stuck聽 here 馃槩 I have valid IPA till last year Nov 2020 but due to聽 entry approval my ipa is expired now I am looking for new ipa .

You said that ,he is from Hyderabad,then how he applied from Maldives..?

Yes right he also got the approval as well.

He will first stay maldives聽 in 14 days after that he will take flight from maldives to Singapore.

Unfortunately, there is no international agreement on this - all visa issues are strictly national, meaning you can approach only the Singapore authorities about it.

Do we have to be in Maldives while applying for the approval or can we go to Maldives after getting the approval?

Please refer to the recent travel ban news for all pass holders, due to the surge in Covid-19 from Singapore government. Only once travel resumes, would it make sense to apply for an entry approval/ travel protocol. For now, advice is to stay safe and not travel to Maldives etc, just to get stuck.
