DP while EP is processing

Hello All,

Please help with inputs, if anyone has experience on the below.

I am currently employed with a firm in Singapore. I have been in Singapore since 2011.
I recently received offer to join another company and EP for it was applied in Feb (pending 8 weeks but that is a different discussion altogether).
I am still employed with my current firm and do not intend to resign until i get the IPA.

In the meanwhile, I have had a new born baby whose STVP is valid till May 5th. I need to apply for the newborn DP before that.

Can i have my new born DP sent for processing, under my existing employer?
Will they be able to see that I have a EP application pending while doing so?
