IPA Extension

Hello, I'd like to ask how long does it take lately to get approval for IPA extension. For context, I have IPA for S-Pass which will expire this coming Friday (June 4th). My employer informed me that they had not heard from MOM and the process should not take too long but now the MOM website said the outcome might take two weeks.

I'd really appreciate if someone could share their experience and if there is something really that me or my employer could do to expedite the process.

IPA extensions with legit reasoning takes utmost 2 weeks in total- CNY holidays may have resulted in some delays.

Yes, for instance- In the recent past, when Covid was at it鈥檚 peak and there were border control measures in place and IPA鈥檚 were not extended for candidates who were outside Singapore. Things are better now, if there is a strong reasoning as to why the extension is being requested, should come through.
