Firstly, thanks to forum members for all their insights. This forum clearly is a haven of information. I am going to ask a question about DP loc to WP conversion, opening a new thread as I couldn鈥檛 find one relevant to this specific question.

My spouse (who is on DP and currently also on a LoC) is discussing with her employer to convert from LoC to a WP.

Now I myself am going through the process of a job change and hence will get IPA for my EP and my spouse鈥檚 DP soon.

My two questions to the experts in this forum are:
1. Can my spouse continue the WP application on her current DP while I also get the IPA for the new EP/DP (but wait for the passes to be issued physically till my spouse鈥檚 WP is issued)
2. Later on, after the new EP/DP card is issued, can my spouse鈥檚 employer then file the change to her WP to get it against the new DP ?

Would be tremendous if the experts from the forum can please help as I am not getting full clarity here around the process.
