New EP application approval- Job Switch in Singapore

Hi All,

Soon I will be completing 2 years working in SG with 6years of total working experience

I am currently working in IT Tech support, annual salary 65k+. Current EP valid - July 2022

Got a new job role with 20% hike

My new employer has applied for my EP on 6th August 2021.

After a week MOM requested for some document from Employer end and degree Certificate verification. My new employer submitted the request documents and applied for degree certification verification via MOM approved agency.

Status of EP application as of 14th Sept 2021- Pending

Any idea if my EP will be approved? any similar cases? what was the outcome ? any timeline for approval?

Nobody here can predict the exact time and date. MoM states 8 weeks roughly for an approval. It totally depends on how strong your application is, lot of other factors with regards to fair hiring, company profile, role, salary etc. Approvals have come through for forum members in less than a week, some have taken 8-10+ weeks too. If MoM comes back with additional questions, it won鈥檛 be days, would be a few weeks for sure
