Hi,

In August, we鈥檙e planning to move from the U.K. to Chiang Mai, and the week after next I鈥檒l be visiting the three British-curriculum schools there. As we鈥檝e never lived in Thailand before, it would be really lovely to hear from someone with first-hand experience. If any parents would be happy to meet up for lunch, I鈥檇 be very grateful.

Welcome! By the time you arrive, it will likely be close to winter, and the weather will be pleasant. Regarding preparations, it's a good idea to start looking for accommodation in advance. Setting a budget for lodging is a good option. Chiang Mai has many foreigners, so don't worry; you can easily find what you're looking for.
