Hello Chris. Did you have an MRI scan before you had your biopsy? Reason im asking is because the MRI can give them a more accurate聽 location of where to take the biopsy from,聽 otherwise, as far as i understand the biopsy is a bit hit and miss. I remember when i had mine the surgeon said theyd take samples from the site of inflammation and the good part, just to be sure.3 months is a ridiculous wait time for a result like that. I had mine carried out through the NHS in the UK聽 and i had all of the tests and results back within a month. Best of luck mate馃愤馃徎

Hi,

Why not just go back to your country of origin and have it done??

Personally, if I was living there and was quoted that amount of money, I'd get a flight back to the UK and have it done on the nhs, for a fraction of that price.

There are some good websites regarding this subject Chris, have a look at them. Perhaps that all you have is an enlarged prostate. It is quite common in men over 50, apologies if youre younger than that but the main thing is聽 they didnt find any sign of cancer, which is good.

If you are in the UK, see your GP and anything that could be cancer related you will be seen by a consultant within 2 weeks either at a NHS hospital or a private hospital but still funded by the NHS.
