Medicare questions

Biff2

Does anyone know where we send our filled out form to quit Medicare?

Is it perhaps the address I’ve found in the Philippians?

could it be faxed there?      I’m going to the consulate in HCM, do they offer any assistance?

Hello,  'medicare" is very common name such as Jonh Smith or Juan Pérez. Don't you have another distinctive attribute? Maybe a logo or the Tax Registration Name?

@ajairon

"", for our American members.

@Biff2

My experience (memory not 100%) that I wrote to the office Social Security in the Philippines; they helped me find the form online. I filled it out with signature, scanned it,  and sent it back to them. Done.

Thank you Lennerd and others, that’s just what I needed.

appreciate much!

I'm virtually certain that I have answered this question at length, more than once in this forum, including the proper link for filing as well as the phone number, Since the Social Security administration very often requires a conversation with you to make sure that you want to drop your plan b. That's the only thing that you stop. Your normal plan A stays in effect but can only be used when you return to the United States.

Anybody care to do a search of our archives to find my previous reply?

Thank you Ocean Beach! I'm new to expat, searching and sending any text, but I did make an attempt at that prior to my reaching out for Pro Expat advice, which seriously this has been the answer. In my search was only 1 post, and not satisfactory. I'm thankful for you guys help. I'm on the right track now.

I found that one earlier, but went looking for any others you might have posted on the subject. The link in your post (#2) isn't working here for me.
