There are financial companies out here that deal with expats and are English speaking, but it depends on if you've got your heart set on a logistics role within the financial sector or are open minded enough to consider other options in the same sector, just not logistics.

Well I'm more open minded ! The thing is that I would prefer to send some CV first and possibly have an interview than coming there having no idea at all. Where should I look for ? The ads I've found up to now are looking for experienced people or those who speak vietnamese.

Welcome on board

You got it right.
Unfortunately, in most skilled jobs in Vietnam, (other than Teaching Language), the companies hire only highly experienced (>= 5 yrs min) overseas professionals.
- by 'overseas professionals' I mean foreign (experienced) professionals applying from overseas.
At that level speaking Vietnamese is not mandatory.

At the lower levels, however, you have to compete for a job with skilled locals and Vietnamese language proficiency will definitely be one of the key decisive factors in the selection and recruitment process.
Also, companies have more restrictions (from the Govt. ) to hire foreigners at the low-skill levels.

Since you don't have much experience, I reckon sending your CV by email/s won't work.

You can (if feasible) come over here for 3 months as a tourist.
Then meet some potential employers in person. You can Just walk in to meet the HRs in their offices.
Give them copies of your CV and discuss available opportunities where you might fit in.
Come prepared with all your credentials, properly attested and/or authenticated by competent authorities in your country.
In case you win a labour contract in VN, you will be needing those docs for your WP application.

In the mean time, you continue your job research on google to make a list of target companies/jobs in Vietnam.

There are many foreign companies in HCM, but if you are not skilful then you don't have any chances working on those companies, But there is Still have a Chance to work in Vietnamese enterprises, but language will be significant barriers. You should try on some requirement site such an as Vietnamese work, Carrybuilder.
