hello, you can rent one everywhere, but better to ask in the lobby of the hotel (a bit more expensive, but better guaranties). One advise: when arrive in Vietnam, try to visit Notary and get a notarized photocopy of your passport.

I will say I don't have any personal experience with electric bikes in Da Nang, nor how are the charging stations there. Can you leave the bike charging unattended? is there a clerk to move your bike after chargin?聽 I don't know, maybe some other member could share.

Now, do you want to ride to Hoi An and Ba Na Hills? do have an International Driver license (IDP 1968 convention) Category A1?聽 聽If not, better consider a Motorbike 50cc than an electric one under 4Kw, 1.5 HP under 50km/h (no license reuired), because you can't vouch for the battery, specially if you are carrying a passenger or in the night.

Finally, I normally I don't recommend riding a motorbike in Vietnam if your were not observing in advanced how the local driving style is here. But Da Nang is not as rushed as other cities, so good luck.

Unlike another respondent in this thread, I actually live here in 膼脿 N岷祅g. I own and use an E-trike and I'm quite familiar with the local e-bike rental market.

Please tell me 1. the location of your hotel as well as 2. how you intend to use the e-bike.

I鈥檓 so happy you responded. I went to Da Nang two years ago. I had been living in Saigon for 4 months. I think I prefer Da.Nang for many reasons and would like to pursue living there. I鈥檓 coming there in three weeks.
