Hello everyone,

We're taking a vacation in Belize for the first time around mid August.聽 I wonder what kind of tropical fruits available then?聽 I'm interested in soursop, longan, jack fruit....聽 Where do I go to buy it?

Tropical fruits can be found at the local market.

tonycd - I think longan is a lychee? If so, they are available, I think, late spring early summer at the San Ignacio market. The lychees are the red kind, and there is a lychee farm up the Cristo Rey road. Soursop is available as well. Not sure of its season though. One of my favorites are mangosteens, and they are typically available November'ish. The San Ignacio market is amazing!

Lychee in March April, Rambuttan in September in South Belize, Mangostein mostly in August
We have all these and many more except Mangostein (too young),Sorry Longan and Lychee are deferent ,easy to check on line

Longan is different from lychee but they're both great.聽 I love all the fruits that you mentioned but hopefully some of them are in season. Thx
