Well, lesson learned so I want to share and save you $65 of wasted money.

I am getting my documents sorted for residency.聽 Applied online for a copy of my clean record and used a company site called [link under review]

The process went smooth.聽 A little TOO smooth.聽 I missed the fine print where they state "our record reports are NOT valid for foreign visa applications".

Ensure you are getting a proper report, certified by the RCMP/GRC of Canada with finger printing included.

Seems like everyone out there is looking to skim a buck (or 65) from anyone not taking the time to read the fine print

on page 12 of the "click here to agree" page, at the bottom of the paragraph that is in a really small font.

Time for stronger readers I guess :-).

Now, where to get my legit birth certificate . . . .

at least for us the FBI does that and a lot cheaper!

i got mine like im 2-3 weeks

be safe out there

Now, just waiting two docs from state dept. hopefully im the next week per agent.
