If you have income in other countries that comes to the US and you are a US Citizen, typically the IRS wants that included. The IRS wants a piece of everything! As a US citizen, you are liable for taxes on income earned anywhere around the world. You can get a foreign income tax credit for the amount of taxes you pay to the DR on that income.

Thank you everyone, @planner we are clear that we have to pay taxes in the DR and that's why we are asking for some guidance, but we really need to know how do you do it in the Dominican Republic? We've already paid the property taxes in DGII (we did the 2 payments they let you do it that way).

You will need an accountant to understand how聽 income and expenses work here not to mention sales tax . That is the simple answer
