Will I pay Dominican taxes

Tropicalcandy88

Apart from the scam of the USA
tax system, I have an online store that is US based. I dont do any business in dom rep. Will I be subject to Dominica taxes? If so, how would they know?

Bank accounts are from the USA.

Which brings me to a second queston: how do I withdrawl money from USA bank accounts in the dr. They are small banks not chase or Citi

As you are Dominican I am not sure the answer to your question.  I am not sure how they may assess your income

How will they know?  Things are more and more connected these days.  Reporting from banks?  I am not sure.

How you withdraw your money:. ATM cards.  Transfer to local bank.  Send yourself money via Xoom or Western Union.

Eventually all will be tracked. That's my best guess.

If is USA based online company that nothing has to do with Dominican Republic, no need to pay to DR.

Another option and cheaper than banks wire is to send yourself money from your credit card using Xoom and picked up here in Caribe Express, just remember that your name must be exact written as appears in your cedula or passport if you do not have cedula.
