Need help finding a lawyer . Divorcing a Dominican woman , everybody knows someone here but they all seem to be notaries

Lishali is on our forums. As far as I know she does not do divorces but she will know someone!聽 I will tag her on this.

To be fair we also have another lawyer who has been active and I will try to tag him as well!

Just a FYI..聽聽I am a long term resident in the DR (almost 50 yrs) and have used a few lawyers over the years.聽 Every one of them produced legal documents for me (car and property sales and two divorces) which they consequently had to take to another lawyer to get it notarized.

It's a very common way of doing business here so I wouldn't be too concerned about using notaries.

That's just my opinion based on my experience so it will be interesting (and educational) for me if and when one of our resident lawyers chime in.
