That will likely be up to your home country to determine. Do they specify the format or method of receipt?

i just got my fingerprint from an approved police dept office in houston and the fbi report from the FBI office. i fillied in the app online and paid the snall fee. got the report right after i send the fingerprint .
in houston only a few police dept are approves for fingerpriting.

Ddmcghee this is the info I was given... You must have your fingerprints recorded and certified by an authorised officer. The fingerprint slip must be stamped with the authorised agency's seal.聽 You must attach a copy of your passport to the fingerprint slip, showing your photograph, passport number and expiration date, date of birth and signature.

It looks like you are from Trididad? If so, I think that is a question for them. Different countries most likely have different authorized agencies. After all, someone has to "authorize" them.

I know there is one in Higuey for you to get what you are looking for, your finger prints聽 that are recorded and certified, just past the Bisilica on avenue Altagarcia and just before Jumbo and is called Ministerio Public and right beside it is the Direccion General de impuestos Internos Hope this helps
