Overtime payments for working on weekends?
Hello. How does the overtime payment works in Belgium for working聽 on weekends or public holidays?
I've found this but I鈥檓 not sure if I understand correctly:
Example:
If my regular working time is Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. But circumstantially, I must work on Weekend or Public Holiday, am I entitled to both compensatory rest day plus 50% extra for hours worked on Saturday and/or 100% for hours worked on Sunday or public holiday?
Additionally, is there a specific legislation for when you have to overnight abroad for work? Besides expenses covered by company, employees are entitled to specific compensation?
