Hello! Do you know if when the SP is released I need to be in my country to take it to the embassy or can I already be in Belgium with a tourist visa and complete the visa process in Belgium? I already have the WP, I'm waiting for the SP, and I wanted to move in July so I can start looking at a house to rent.

WP is the work permit, which is the first step to having the SP, Single Permit. After the WP, the process continues to release the SP, which takes longer.

Anyone with an update on SP status recently? Got WP on May 2 and still waiting.

How did some of you get to contact the聽 immigration office(ibz) and get an estimate on the timeline? They do not answer the phone, nor they given me any useful info in email
