Yes, now I aply for the visa in my country and I think it麓s one or two weeks after the appointment to receive the visa.

We started the process on april 16th and received SP in june 21st, and now more two weeks for the visa. I think it will be 3 months.

Hi all,

I got an offer in Brussels and I am gathering all the documents to apply for the the single permit.

I have a question related to my bachelor's degree. It was issued outside EU and I translated to Dutch, but the original copy is not with a apostille. Do you think that could be a problem?

Any of you got the single permit with a non-EU degree without apostille?

I've been in Belgium since last year. My employer ended my contract, I got a new job, and my work permit was issued on 28/5 but my single permit hasn鈥檛 been issued yet. I want to renew my rental contract but I am unsure about the single permit decision. Is there any possibility that the single permit will be rejected after the work permit is issued?

Hi everyone,

I am looking for some advice regarding the single permit process in Belgium. This is my first time applying for a single permit. My work permit was approved on June 21, but I am still waiting for the single permit.

I currently have a two-month notice period at my job in Sweden, and I am supposed to start my new job in Belgium on September 1, 2024. I want to know if there is any risk that my single permit could still be refused, even though my work permit has already been accepted.

Is it safe for me to resign from my current position now, or should I wait until I have the single permit in hand to avoid any potential issues?

Hi I applied for a single permit last May 22, 2024 in France and I contacted my employer regarding the status of my work authorization and they told me that there are problems with timelines now because there are new laws or whatever that were recently enacted (changing platforms and ministry processes). In addition, the summer months are mostly slow for the government. Any news regarding this?

I got a reply from Flanders region authorities they want resignation letter from current employer, if I resign with current employer then do they really approve my application?

I talked to my employer today and they finally told me that my single permit will most probably be resolved by NOVEMBER 2024. To give you a timeline I got my no reply on May 22 (Brussels Region).

Is this really how long it takes to get this permit?

It seems that they are still processing applications as I see that some of you got their single permit in july. I got the WP on 21st june and now waiting for the SP. Would the processing be slower in the coming days since they might have less staff during summer?
