Help from Anyone living around Popovo.

Just wondering if anyone lives in the Popovo area that can give advice about the surrounding villages. If everything pans out ok this is the area that I will be buying.聽聽聽I do have some concerns though about which villages are dead and something that I hadn't thought about. 'Gypsies'. I hadn't even thought about the latter until I saw an ad for a house and it said "no gypsies living in the village."聽 I started thinking 'are gypsies a problem around the area'. If it warrents mentioning in an advert then there must be something to it.聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽I have been on Google maps and street viewed some of the villages around Popovo and a couple of villages do look a bit deserted. For example smashed windows and not much sign of activity. Having said that Google was there in 2022 so things could have changed since then. If anyone could point out any areas where not to go it would be greatly appreciated.

I hope someone in the area can answer you. I will say that Street View is a good place to start but not always the best indicator, as even nice villages can have some derelict houses, closed shops, people hanging around looking vaguely unsavoury.

There are plenty of Brits in the Popovo area and trying the Facebook groups might get you a faster response.
