I just wanted to share with you all something that I've never seen before in all my years here: today we received our first Christmas card of the year - postmarked Spokane, Washington 12 November.聽 Two weeks from the US to stuck in my garden gate in Sofia is nothing short of a full-blown miracle!

A big improvement when it took over 8 months during Covid to receive a USPS letter as the US Postal service let everyone but a skeleton staff work form home at full pay.聽聽I know, as my cousin works for USPS.聽聽He hates it now that he actually has to show up and work for a paycheck.聽聽 He longs for the day when he was a young person in Bulgaria and only pretended to work聽 for a paycheck.聽聽
