I really would like to know as much as possible about the everyday things such as,聽 shops聽 size聽 availability to use transport. Is it a safe village. Problems with Roma, and stray dogs ect.

Hello Lady Thurston,

I was born in Yambol and lived in the town until I started college. My familiy owns a house in a village called Kamenetz, 25 km from Yambol. After my grandmother passed away two years ago, my mom has been going to the village during holidays but she retired this year and moved to Sofia to be with my sister.
It is a two story house, with stone foundation, big terrace with a very nice view over fields and small hills. There is a pool in the yard as well as natural water coming through a fountain, both could be used for watering any vegetation you decide to have in the very fertile land, belonging to the house.
The village is safe and very conveniently located to Yambol (25-30 min), Black sea (60 min) and the mountain range Strandza-Sakar
