Application within the UK due to COVID

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if it is possible to submit an application within the UK for a spouse visa even if i am on聽 a tourist visa at this moment? I read an article that they are making some exceptions due to covid but i couldnt find details of that exceptions. Please help me with some information if you know something.聽 Thank you!

Details are on the UK Gov website; this will take you straight there and you can begin the process.

The key sentence (on the link provided) is "If you do not meet the rules to enter or remain in the UK because of coronavirus, you might still be able to apply to extend your stay or switch to a family visa." In other words, yes, it may be possible. I think the only way to find out whether you can actually do this is to telephone them.
