Standesamt Received My Papers From Embassy That ls Verified. Now She( Standesamt) sent it to Oberlandesgericht to give the go ahead to marry. I dont really know the work of Oberlandesgericht. Please do you know the work of Oberlandesgericht?

I have never heard of this. Did they say what they asked the Oberlandesgericht to verify?

I'm confused; my experience from living in Germany for 15 years was that the "Oberlandesgericht" is the German High-Court system; it would be very unusual for anything to be referred directly to them unless first going through a lower-level court; a standesamt is not a court.聽 So I suspect that somebody somewhere has misunderstood what was said.

I know I haven't helped the OP, but I wish them the best of luck in whatever they are doing.
