WTF?!
Russian President Vladimir Putin has been invited to join US President Donald Trump鈥檚 鈥淏oard of Peace,鈥 the committee that will oversee the reconstruction of Gaza, his spokesman said on Monday.
Speaking to reporters during a regular media briefing, Dmitry Peskov said 鈥淧resident Putin also received through diplomatic channels an invitation to join this Board of Peace.鈥
The madness it seems continues. Or is getting worse when you couldn't think it could. I wonder if Donny's head is any closer to imploding? The pressure in the Mango Man's head must be intense as he continues to lose his marbles.
There's another story that joining Donny's Gaza thing is going to cost $1B a year for membership. What is that? Mar-a-Lago Gaza membership? Not even a Palestinian involved. I don't have a link yet to that story but it will come. - @fluffy2560

Very possibly, but you have to show evidence when you make a claim. - @Fred
Try following the news. I know its hard for you Fred because you don't like it.

So link to proof of your alleged fraud.
It might well be true, but anyone can claim anything without evidence.
I could claim you wear a flowery pink dress on Friday nights when you go to dodgy night clubs, but I can't show it's true unless I post photos.
Not that I have any, but I can still claim it if evidence free accusations are acceptable.

Apparently that's true.聽 He'll control it all personally in perpetuity.聽
Some reports say it's forming up as an alternative to the UN.
I'm expecting Tony Blair to withdraw.聽 He's got no credibility whatsoever in Gaza. Or many other places come to that.聽 聽And I doubt he's got $1B down the back of the sofa.
Even Netanyahu is pushing back as Trump did not consult on it.
@fluffy2560
I don't think Blair has to pay as he is on the executive board, but the leaders of the countries do. It really does sounds all messed up. Inviting 60 countries to join?

Messed up is far too generous.聽 I'd be using more extreme words.
I think there's a lot of push back on Blair.聽 聽
Trump isn't going to live forever and according to his rules, he and he alone nominates successors and makes all decisions.
Who wants to get $1B tied up with him or his family?聽 That's lunacy.
He'll struggle to get anyone to fall for this scam or perhaps some will, on the grounds they can scam him back by changing the rules.聽 聽
Let's see who has $1B of someone else's money (e.g. citizens) they can throw his way.聽 聽
Did you see the letter he sent to Norway?
Dear Jonas,
Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America.
Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a "right of ownership" anyway?
There are no written documents, it's only that a boat landed there hundreds of years ago, but we had boats landing there, also.
I have done more for NATO than any other person since its founding, and now, NATO should do something for the United States.
The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland.
Thank you!

This is what AI says about the letter
That letter is鈥 a lot. And I can see exactly why you鈥檙e exasperated.
I won鈥檛 comment on any political figure personally, but I can talk about the writing itself 鈥 and the writing is undeniably chaotic. It jumps between topics, makes sweeping claims without support, mixes emotional grievance with geopolitical arguments, and uses capitalisation like a teenager trying to sound dramatic. It reads more like a rant than a diplomatic communication.
- The man is completely off his rocker..... You would think he would use AI to help him write letters, just to make him sound somewhat intelligent? His grammar is embarrassing to say the least.
AI version of what I wrote.
That level of sloppiness can feel like an insult in itself. When someone sends you something so chaotic that you have to decode it, it鈥檚 hard not to think, 鈥淚f you can鈥檛 even be bothered to write a coherent sentence, why am I giving this my time?鈥
And the irony you鈥檙e pointing out is real 鈥 we live in a world where help is literally one click away. If someone still manages to produce a grammatical train wreck, it often says more about their attitude than their ability. It feels careless, lazy, or just wildly unaware.

Norway the country doesn't award the Nobel prize, it's the Nobel prize committee.聽 聽And that's nothing to do with the Norwegian government who have no influence.聽 Why he felt a need to write a letter is baffling.聽 And it's a nonsense.

Donny has the WEF to attend and maybe he'll say something else equally off the wall.聽 It's might all just be a flash in the pan.

As I've said before, AI is brilliant for writing letters. I often do it now because of my Dyslexia. I know what I want to say, but it often just comes out back to front. So I would normally have to write a start, middle and end. Then write the pieces separately. For someone so big on wanting AI in the world, you would think he would use it. His wife wants children to learn to use it, but you would have thought Donald would fit right in.
Now, as to why Denmark should have a claim to Greenland makes me laugh because America sent boats there 300 years ago.
We have 3 more years of this. Gawd knows what he will try to do in the coming years scares me and probably the rest of the world.

Blair got a lot of cash from the US as payment for the ILLEGAL invasion of Iraq and his WMD lies.
Since then, he's been a background fixer on a lot of projects using his TBI money machine and a lot of that nobody has ever cracked.
However,聽 he also knows when something is
I'm truly shocked anyone thinks bent Blair's credibility matters at all- it's always about how much cash he can screw - his network is big, and he has the billion down the back of offshore accounts, but he won't need to spend it.

Did I like Blair? He might have had some good things and bad ideas, just as most PMs do. But as for Iraq, it was down to misinformation given to him and Bush. That's how politics work; you might not like it, but at the time, they believed it was the right move.

I have no idea how you manage to be totally wrong in every post, but you do.
Blair was behind the push to invade Iraq, including producing the dodgy dossier for Bush.
He was handsomely paid by the US for doing so, much of it via South Korean companies in an attempt to hide his thirty pieces of silver.

BTW,聽 the Danish has form on selling land to the Americans.聽 American Virgin Islands were actually Danish and a coaling station.聽 I've been there and it's not much to look at.聽 聽The Americans bought it for $25M. Talking about boats landing there, what is US territory now was probably visited by Vikings many years before so there's probably enough evidence to say the US is Danish or at least Norwegian or similar.
Greenland has a tiny border with Canada so I think that gives Canada a stake as well.

My true love, Donny is totally destroying America's place as the world's bully.
SINGAPORE, Jan 20 (Reuters) - The dollar retreated for a second day in Asian trading on Tuesday after threats from the White House towards the European Union over the future of Greenland triggered a broad selloff across U.S. stocks and government bonds.
The dollar index , which measures the greenback's strength against a basket of six currencies, slid as much as 0.2% to 98.891 - its lowest level since January 13 - as investors worried about exposure to U.S. markets.

More on Trump:
This is a breaking story. Trump and Co previously endorsed it.聽
A lot of politicians were and are against handing it back. Maybe Trump is trying to boost Farage by rubbishing Starmer.
I don't think the agreement is ratified fully.聽 So HMG can cancel it.
And here, Epstein doesn't go away:
BBC reported NORAD planes are arriving in Pituffik base. They say exercise but it could be reinforcements for an invasion. NORAD is a US-Canada treaty organisation. Denmark should be there too!
Trump is causing real world problems that will change the business map significantly, and has the potential to wipe out pension funds.
However,聽 fund managers tend to look for safety in volatile markets,聽 and that isn't US stocks and bonds at the moment.
Even if Trump's goes immediately,聽 the damage he's done to his country has changed the State's world position forever.
NEW YORK/PARIS, Jan 20 : Global stocks were lower across the board on Tuesday, with a selloff in equities on Wall Street, Europe and Asia, amid increased market volatility after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to reignite a trade war with Europe over Greenland
Danish pension operator AkademikerPension said it is exiting U.S. Treasurys because of finance concerns as Denmark spars with President Donald Trump over his threats to take over Greenland.
The latter story is a tiny amount of money by US debt standards, but the selloff changes a dynamic that has generally been held dear.聽 US bonds are now fair game as a financial weapon in the west.
This story appears small, but it has the potential to be as big as the shift that Biden caused when he took Russia's money.
The US has never been seen as a threat to Europe,聽 but Trump's US is a dangerous adversary,聽 and the financial markets will act accordingly.
This is interesting,聽 but can't be called news until it's confirmed.聽 The credit goes to an established journalist.

No-one needs to actually sell their US bonds.聽 All they have to do is spread rumours they will sell their US bonds.聽 聽That would cause a considerable problem for Trump.聽 聽
The US government relies on bond (debt) issues to funds its short term cashflow. That's not particularly unusual.聽 聽US government has to be in the bond market.聽 聽But if people have no faith in the US government,聽 there will be no or insufficient takers for their bonds, . That would cost him big time.聽 聽
A more amusing slap around the chops would be to sell US debt to China.聽 That'd be a huge nudge on the schadenfreude meter.
I didn't see the speech he made at the WH yesterday but some reports on the radio said he looked really tired and possibly unwell and was rambling.聽 聽
If SCOTUS had thrown out the tariffs yesterday, then he'd have much less to crow about after 365 days in office.聽 聽
