open a bank account while waiting the resident permit

hello everyone,

I'm facing troubles while looking to open a bank account where at least I can send or/and receive money in Italy, since my cards from my country of origin are no longer active and required my presence to re-activate them. However, I tried many banks including Poste Italiane (they provide financial services) and they asked for Carta d'identita which I don't have it yet since I'm still waiting the resident permit card to be issued (I applied on Nov, 2023). Is there anybody had the same experience and managed to open a bank account with the tax code, the receipt and passport? which bank?

If you have your original national identity documents聽 any italian bank will open an account for you as a non resident, if tou sre awaiting residency. if you do not need to be able to deposit cash or cheques then try wise they will open a euro account with a debit card attached.
