Consulates are not geared up for such a service.

Does anyone know if a request to regain Italian citizenship can be made in Italy because the consulate in the US is not helpful. - @mondocanemsr

Email them, use the address Ivee given you.

I have been told by the Italian Foreign Minister’s office I emailed I need to contact the consulate, they are all useless. I’ll email the embassy as you suggested.

when you write "regain the italian citizenship" you mean you forfeited it? Or you mean  something completly different? (e.g you could claim it jure sanguinis)
