Dear Cheryl,

Thank you for suggestion already found so much useful information there about healthcare. Will try to search for answers about nannies and other questions I have. Thanks once again!

@Marlene Ferber

Will you be working in Malta?

yes, I am not in process of signing a contract.

I tried to contact nannies agency and I was lucky to find good one for my kids, but I struggle to find a cleaner. I contacted all biggest cleaning companies, and they are either super expensive or fully booked for months ahead, all they can offer a slot here and there. Do you have any ideas where I could find reliable cleaner (not cleaning company) ?

There is an app for cleaning services in Malta - Rozie. From first moment they look reliable, but any thoughts or experiences about them ? They claim to have freelancers and cleaning companies inside of the app. Anyone have a feedback ? THANKS!

If you are a TCN you are required to hold medical insurance, so then you can claim most things from there when going to private healthcare.

Once you work and have a Payslip showing NI contributions you are entitled to free healthcare in addition

Cleaners are hard to find, but there's a vast cash-in-hand industry for this, you ask your neighbours cleaners and they recommend a friend if they can't take you on.

Ah indeed, guess I got my lines crossed!

Then scratch the private insurance bit, working here will be enough

@Marlene Ferber

If you would prefer to employ a specific person, rather than have a different person for each cleaning, perhaps you could join the Facebook group "Nannies and Cleaners Malta".

Regarding a nanny, I am not sure how old your children are, but if you are looking for someone to care for a pre-kindergarten age baby or toddler (under 3 years), you will be entitled to free child care if you are working in Malta.

Many employers offer free private healthcare insurance as part of their renumeration package.

@Evreham

Thank you so much! Will follow your recommendations! Already searched that group and it is very useful
