Rehoming a dog

My son, so very much against my advice, took on a puppy.聽 The puppy is now a 4 year old untrained barky dog - albeit very loved.
The (valid) complaints come in re his barking and Michael is about to loose his accommodation (a flat). My worst fears have been realised.

I am in the UK and trying to help solve this crisis from a distance (not at all realist or on the cards, but am researching cost of bringing Cody to the UK and looking at rehomeing here - I am unable to keep him).

The chances are we will have to find a rescue for him in Malta - heartbreaking, but I am at a loss as to find another solution.

Can anyone suggest a reputable rescue - somewhere to start, or give advice please?聽

Thanks
Karen

Try SASG - its meant for strays for they do an excellent job and are located at Cirrekawa聽 near the ferry terminal and to be honest cant see them turning away any dog or cat..they have a facebook page too.

sadly animal sanctuaries are nearly always full, and animals are turned away every day - priority is given to puppies and injured dogs, and then to dogs easily rehomable

thats Noah's Ark, not SASG - I'm not sure if SASG take in dogs

there is also Malta SPCA , AAA, and Island Sanctuary

ah sorry george - thought they were

i stand corrected (Noahs Ark seems to be mainly dogs)- But the SASG do have a place at Ramla Bay (got my location wrong) and they do rehome dogs although most of their work is based around cats.

still worth a try though.
Thanks for all replies.聽 I have emailed the link supplied and will try the others.

If only our children would take our advice in the first place :(
theyre all the same matey....good luck with the dog.
