Does anyone use portable aircon?
If so which type,model would they recommend?
Which supplier on the islands would they recommend?
Need just the one for our bedroom.

not used one to be hinest but those that i know who have - all said dont bother theyre not too good......horses for courses i guess.

Agreed George but we may not have the option of having one installed.
Looking for an 'A' class one, about 聙375 equivalent in UK.
We only need it for one bedroom.

Red - why聽 not ask the question - as am sure you could negotiate it especially if you are to stay long term - we did this in our flat - it benefits you and the owner ultimately

If you are still looking for a portable AC, I have a brand new one available. Shipped 3 10000BTU portable AMCOR units from the UK. Subsequently decided to install a fixed AC in our apartment (Mgarr). Cost 拢204.97 (Eur240), will sell for 拢100 (Eur120)per unit.

Yes, can hold on to one unit for you. I will however leave Malta on 20 August, to be back again only in June 2014.
