Scratch off bus tickets.

GuestPoster566

From Malta Today.
Malta Public Transport has announced the introduction of new bus tickets that will go on sale today.
The new tickets, which bus commuters will be able to buy in advance of travelling, feature a set of scratch-off panels that customers will use to validate their ticket themselves allowing commuters to board buses quicker and with greater ease.
The new scratch-off tickets will be available in two formats: 1-Day Tickets and 7-Day Tickets and will be available at regular bus fares for adults, children, holders of Kartanzjan or the E60+ card as well as holders of the Blue Badge Card.
The new tickets, Malta Public Transport said, can be validated and ready for travel in two simple steps, which involve scratching off the day or days commuters wish to use the tickets on.
Malta Public Transport reminded customers to carry a valid bus ticket when travelling on buses, and to present this ticket to Public Transport officials when asked. Passengers travelling without a ticket may be liable to pay a fine of 50.
Scratch-Off Bus Tickets are on sale from ticket sellers and on-board sub-contracted buses.
Further information on how to use and where to purchase your Scratch-Off Bus Tickets can be found on Malta Public Transports website publictransport.com.mt/scratch-off-tickets or through the Customer Care Centre on 2122-2000 or email enquiries@publictransport.com.mt.
