Charity shops on Malta

kmc

We've a number of bags of good second-hand clothes and shoes that are looking for a home - I've tried looking for shops (other than to animal charities - ie cancer, heart foundation etc) or the asylum seekers in order to donate but there seems to be nowhere. I'd hate to just pop them on the curb for the dustmen to take away.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Animal charities are the only ones I've ever seen down here, there are several of them and they are quite well known. But I don't think I've heard of any other ones. Which is a bit strange.

Hi

Thanks for all the replies... have decided to go with Rob's suggestion of the CCIF. (Cross Culture International Foundation CCIF ()

I had seen so many outlets for animal charities (lucky animals  :) ) and so had thought that surely there must be other centres/charities that need support. Don't get me wrong, I am an animal lover!!! I'm just surprised at the number of shops etc that are dedicated to animals rather than (or should I say - as well as) say kidney research, heart foundation, age concern, hospices, cancer .... the list goes on.

It might help if you said where you are, your information says you are still in the UK!
