Buy heavy duty corrugated pallet boxes complete with pallets from a packaging agent in the UK and ship them using聽 'MaltPost Send On'聽 or a similar shipping company. Standard sizes are approx. 120 x 100 x 100cms or 100 x 80 x 80cms. you can get various sizes and you would probably only need 2 or 3 . Should be able to do it for well under 拢1000 (dependent on weight as well as volume). You can stretch wrap them and would be best to strap them as well.
We shipped 4 large ones for 拢800 6 years ago.

If I was to live on Malta that is one place I would choose, it鈥檚 popular with expats.聽 Whenever we are in Malta we like to go to the new Valyou supermarket.
