ETF stock market while living in Portugal

Hi guys,

I need suggestions on a reliable ETF stock broker I can use to invest in a basket of securities or portfolio while I am living in Portugal. Preferably an international stock broker. I'm from Africa and I'm living in Portugal.

Just looking for a simple way to stack a few thousand EUROs and wait for some monthly, quarterly or yearly dividends.

Any recommendation in your experience would be appriciated.

I've used Hargreaves Lansdown in UK for years - ETFs , private pension, investments etc.

Their costs reasonable, large choice of funds, great service and online app.

Maybe you need a UK bank account.

Was simple for me as I am from UK.

Smaller sums (a few thousand to a few tens of thousands euros) - you're probably better off with Interactive Brokers Ireland - commissions based on the number of shares you trade.

Sums larger than that - DeGiro is better since they have a fixed 3 euros commission. Even better, DeGiro have a list of ETFs that you can choose for and which only have a 1 euro commission.

These two are the cheapest I have found so far (and this is important, since commissions can really eat your capital, especially if you're trading frequently).
