Reclaiming VAT on items exported from PT to UK

Hi,

I have previously reclaimed VAT on items bought in EU (France) and taken out of the EU (UK) using the PABLO kiosks at Calais ferry port.聽 聽 Anyone know how the process of reclaiming VAT works for things bought in Portugal and taken to the UK ?

Currently resident in UK so easy to buy stuff in France and reclaim VAT at Calais ferry terminal when exporting it (ie. getting on the ferry).
