Advice re ex-pat elderly aunt in Portugal hospital

I'm hoping someone can offer me some advice.聽 My 76 year old ex-pat aunt (family friend) has been in a Portuguese hospital since November.聽 Prior to this, she lived alone with her two animals since moving to Portugal over 20 years ago. No children or family. I live in the UK and since her admission have been trying to liaise with the hospital to advocate for her needs and understand the long term plan for her care.聽 She is incredibly isolated as she doesn't speak the language. This is impacting her mental health and delaying any recovery. I have enlisted the support of the British Consular but help has been minimal. Is there any English speaking organisation or charity in Portugal that supports elderly ex-pats and that can help? Has anyone been in this situation before and got any advice? It feels impossible to help from the UK as I don't speak the language either.聽 She ultimately wants to return to the UK but we are a long way off that.
