BUPi question

Strontium

Hi,

Was doing a bit of gardening then there was a deluge so thought we'd try and sort out something in the dry with the local Camera.    There a slim bit (120m2) of land between the little garden and next door's garden.  Next door has been unoccupied and over grown for several years since the occupant died and no-one seems to know who is responsible for it. The slim bit of land we clear as there's no other access.  We went to Camera and asked for information this 120m2 bit of land but they wanted the Rustic Article Number which we don't have.   On the BUPi site the bit of land is the greenish bit near Coimbra area but zooming in the plot is outlined and coloured blue.

Would someone explain the what this means and any ideas how to progress ?

Or try to consult the Local Land Registry Office (Conservatória do Registo Predial)

Since the property is registered by its location and often by a geographical description (boundaries/confrontations), you can try to search in person.

What to bring:

- The most precise address or location you have (e.g., street name, village, parish, nearest landmark).

- A map or a printout from a satellite image service (like Google Maps or BUPI platform) clearly showing the plot you are interested in.

- If you know the name of any of the neighbors (confinantes), this is highly valuable, as properties are often recorded with their boundaries listed (North, South, East, West neighbors). In the absence of a number, the clerks at the Conservatória may be able to search for the property using the geographical and boundary information you provide.
