Hi Maglavin60,

To change your appointment, you must reach out through their official contact channels.

Phone Numbers: (+351) 217 115 000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 20:00 (Lisbon time).

Tip: Try calling exactly at 08:00 AM or just before they close at 08:00 PM to increase your chances of getting through.

I think the phone is the only thing that works. People here say they don't reply to emails. But you can try both.

As far as I know, there is no direct "Reschedule" button on the AIMA portal in your user area.

Thank you very much for the information.  Of course the AIMA appointment email directed me to their website portal to do so but no option exists!.  I will keep trying the phone #'s to AIMA but always busy or voicemail with no options.

One thing worth noting: if you genuinely cannot make the appointment, it's generally better to not just ignore it. From discussions on this forum, missing an appointment without prior notice can sometimes complicate your case, so even if you can't reach them by phone, it might be worth documenting every attempt — keep notes of dates, times, and what was said. That way you have evidence of good faith if anything comes up later.

Finally connected via AIMA # after 100+ calls, did have English speaking attendant, could not change my appointment via call center and stated I could not change online in Porto area, suggested I go to Porto AIMA loja but they do not accept walk-ins, appointment only and I cannot secure appointment there nor online.   A circle of miss direction,  lack of help and solution.  I have now learned my only remaining option  for AIMA appointment is a directed Power of Attorney Portugal representative to go for me.  As they say in Portuguese "mais mais complicar!"

Thx for your help and response
