Letter of Invitation - HELP!

My friend from Romania created the Invitation Letter the date goes from July 11 to October 11. I was kind of dumb to count the months instead of days. So, July 11 to October 11 is more than 90 days, it's 92 days. The short-stay visit visa is only for 90 days or less. But the Invitation Letter is already created and notarized.

Will this be okay for the Embassy if I still submit this Invitation Letter that has more than 90 days, but I will just buy a ticket that will be good for 90 days i.e. from July 11 - October 9, will they accept it? I need help.
