Hello,

I am a Swiss citizen and the embassy of Switzerland informed me I need a work permit.

I am very surprised because with the freedom movement and as I read on many websites
it shouldnt聽 be the case.

I am in Madrid and how to apply for a work visa ? the administration here is a nightmare
and I really need help.

Hello,

You just need a NIE. You get it at your City house and with it, you can get all other papers as helath insurance, fiscal number, etc... But as EEA citizen, you don't need to have a work permit like non-EEA citizens...

But, you are in Madrid now and you can move there? Because there is a lockdown, no?
