Hey,

I have a P SEU - SOPIMUKSEN 50 ARTIKLA Finnish Residence Permit and I鈥檓 trying to understand something simple:

I also am a British citizen.

Ive been living in Finland since 2009 permanently continuously.

Can I legally move to and work in Sweden with this, or not?

If yes:

Do I need any extra permits or registration?

What is the first step when moving there for work?

If no:

What would I need instead to be able to work in Sweden?

I asked Swedish immigration and all they said was

Du har r盲tt att b枚rja arbeta direkt n盲r du har kommit till Sverige, du beh枚ver inte v盲nta p氓 beslut om uppeh氓llstillst氓nd.

I det fall man har en p氓g氓ende ans枚kan om uppeh氓llstillst氓nd har man legaliserat sin vistelse och f氓r som ovan n盲mnt arbeta under handl盲ggningstiden. I det fall man f氓r beviljat uppeh氓llstillst氓nd beh枚ver man kontakta Skatteverket f枚r att f氓 ett personnummer.

It hardly makes any sense.

I鈥檓 getting mixed information online, so I鈥檇 really appreciate a clear answer or personal experience.
